The vents are barely blocked much by this design, so it has that going for it, which is nice.

I wouldn’t recommend this for horizontal mounting (e.g., under a shelf). The little bumps are there to hold the PS4 in place, not to support its full weight. The chunky shelf part takes the weight. Mounting horizontally would put all the load on the little nubbinses, which could be a disaster.
